P.S…. R. Lindsay Carter’s Personal Generative AI Stance:

I don’t use it. I do not use generative AI in the conceptualizing, drafting, or editing of my written work. Likewise, I do not use generative AI in any of my covers from conception to completion. If you visit my booths and see my stickers, notebooks, or other art, those are all designed and made by me, with zero input from generative AI. And I make my own marketing graphics without its purposeful use as well, although software like Canva has made this more difficult as time goes on. My personal motto is that if I cannot come up with a story idea and write it all by myself, I have no business being an author.
